Roofing Made Simple is operated by AQC Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we" and "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. They apply when you use roofermadesimple.com or buy our guides. By buying or using them, you agree to these terms.

What you're buying

Our guides are digital PDF files, in English. Right after purchase, we email you a link to your library, where you can download them anytime. Prices are in US dollars and are a one-time payment; there is no subscription. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.

How you can use the guides

When you buy, you get a license to use the guides in your own work. You can keep the files on your own devices, print copies for your own business, fill in and copy the worksheets and quote sheets for your own jobs, and share pages with the people who work for you in your business.

You may not resell, upload, or otherwise publish the files, or use them to create a course, class, or competing product. The guides and everything in them are © AQC Technologies LLC.

An independent guide

Roofing Made Simple is an independent guide for people running a roofing business. It explains rules in plain words and is not legal, tax, insurance or accounting advice. It is not affiliated with any licensing board, insurer or government agency.

The guides do not claim to be written or reviewed by any expert or instructor. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OSHA, the U.S. Department of Labor, the IRS, any state licensing board, any insurance company, any roofing manufacturer or the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). Those names are used only to say where the public rules in the guides come from.

Using the guides

The guides describe common ways to price, sell, run and staff a roofing business and to measure and build roofs safely, drawn from public sources. They are not legal, tax, insurance or accounting advice. Your state and local rules, your licensing board, your insurer, your tax preparer and each manufacturer's installation instructions come first. The guides never tell you to act as a public adjuster or to waive a customer's deductible.

We work hard to keep every page accurate. If you spot an error, please email us and we'll fix it.

No promise of results

Limitation of liability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
